Tropical and floral aromas highlight the entry of this classic Trefethen Chardonnay. Honeysuckle, apple, pear and lemon zest fill the palate. The cooler growing season and longer hang-times gave us very even ripening on the vine and thus produced a rich, well-balanced wine with bright acidity and a slight stony mineral finish.
Creamy pasta sauces, grilled seafood, and herb-roasted chicken are delightful with this wine. Also, try with light pork dishes seasoned with thyme or oregano.
